In this “Wonder” Character Analysis Collaborative Poster Activity, I created 8 collaborative posters for your students for all the major characters of Wonder- Auggie, Via, Miranda, Jack Will, Summer, Julian, Mr. Browne, and Justin.

These collaborative posters are 16.5” x 21.5” when assembled. These collaborative posters are created with mini-activities for each group member focusing on character analysis. You can group your students in groups of four to work on these posters together; however, you can even pair your students together and have each student work on two pieces in the poster.

Wonder by R.J. Palacio is a very popular book amongst middle school students. This book has found its way into many classrooms due to its educational themes of compassion, kindness, and differences. It is an amazing novel for middle school students to take on a reading journey, and they are bound to learn so many unforgettable lessons from this novel.

I created this Wonder Craftivity for the purpose of literary analysis, creativity, and craft. This project asks the students to focus on five short answer questions regarding the theme, the point of view, important quotations, Mr. Browne’s precepts, and symbolism. The students are asked to dive deep into these specific questions and answer them on each part of the helmet. Once completed and colored, the students are instructed to put the helmet together to create a 3D globe, which can be displayed in the classroom.
