Quick Reads Reading Comprehension BUNDLE

Use this Quick Reads Reading Comprehension Bundle to help your students who struggle with their tracking, reading fluency, and comprehension. Reading is an important part of every student’s life, but many of our students struggle with reading comprehension and reading speed. Presently, students are not reading enough, impacting their comprehension skills and their reading speed. Therefore, I created this product to help with those two skills.

In this product, you are receiving:

9 Months of Quick Reads and Reading Comprehension

*Each month has 4 weeks of daily quick reads-1 minute, short reading passages in which the students can time their reading and practice their reading comprehension.

*Each week is its own separate flip book, where the students cut out the pages, stack, and staple, creating an easy, go-to packet.

*Each day has one comprehension question correlating with the passage. The comprehension questions are Common Core aligned covering:

*main idea

*sequence

*figurative language

*cause and effect

*fact and opinion

*literary/figurative terms (if applicable)

*words in context

*inference and drawing conclusions.

In addition, the students are asked to time themselves while reading the packet.

*There is a space for the students to write down the time it took for them to complete the passage

Main Idea & Theme Digital Escape Room

In this Main Idea & Theme Digital Escape Room, your students will review and practice their theme, main idea, and context clues skills. Would you like to try an engaging, review activity with your students to reinforce these skills and techniques? In this Digital Escape™, there are seven different activities, and your students will review and practice their context clue, main idea, and theme skills in this escape room.

This Digital Escape™ is set up like the game, Clue, and a murder mystery-style game. In this escape, your students are on a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and while they are there, one of the Rembrandt paintings is stolen. Objects are left throughout the museum, and there are four students who are suspects. Your students’ job is to work on activities, find the clues, and discover who is guilty, what time did the robbery happen, what object did the suspect used to steal the painting, and in what room did it happen?

Students will encounter multiple-choice questions.

Your students will solve puzzles, ciphers, and clues to escape!

All you have to do is share the link with your students or assign the link in GOOGLE Classroom.

You can have your students complete this on Chromebooks, on an IPad, or in a computer lab.
