Body Paragraph Writing

This Body Paragraph Writing Product will help your students who have trouble with organizing an essay, and they don’t know how many sentences are required and the specifics required. Some students think it is acceptable to write a few sentences for a body paragraph, while others write 8-10 sentences. In essence, the body paragraph needs to be modeled, and it is clear that our students need guidelines.

I have related the writing of a body paragraph to the main course of a fine dining experience. Think about it…the introduction is similar to an appetizer on a menu, while the body paragraphs are the main meal, giving all the ”meat” and details of the topic. You will see this theme throughout the product. With this, I created a step-by-step writing placement to help guide your students in writing AWESOME body paragraphs. The nice part is if you print out a class set of placemats, and laminate them, you can use them over and over when you are doing essay writing.

Essay writing can be difficult for many students. Check out these Essay Writing Menus to assist your students in writing an introduction paragraph, body paragraph, and conclusion paragraph. These templates give step-by-step directions for each paragraph, and it also includes model paragraphs.

The writing menus are perfect for walking your students through the components of an essay.
