Middle school students struggle with reading comprehension, and reading is an important part of every students’ life.  However, many of our students struggle with reading comprehension, reading speed & fluency. Presently, students are not reading enough, impacting their comprehension skills and their reading speed. How would you like a quick, daily reading comprehension passage that assesses both their reading comprehension and reading speed DIGITALLY?

In this product, you will receive:

1. 4 Weeks of Daily, Digital Reading Comprehension Quick Reads for October-1 minute, short reading passages in which the students can time their reading and practice their reading comprehension

2. Each day has one comprehension question correlating with the passage. The comprehension questions are Common Core-aligned covering:

*main idea

*sequence

*cause and effect

*fact and opinion

*words in context

*inference and drawing conclusions

In addition, the students are asked to time themselves while reading the packet

*There is a space for the students to type  the time it took for them to complete the passage

*These daily quick reads are great for bell ringers, daily homework, reading groups, and centers!

This is Google Classroom & Schoology Ready, and you can make a copy, edit it if you would like, and assign it right in Google Classroom!
