Normally, reviewing homophones pen and paper style can be rather, well, mundane, and boring. I tried to take a relatively common review and make it into a review activity that is fun, colorful, and engaging!
In this activity, your students will review the homophones: Their/There/They’re; Your/You’re/Yours; Except/Accept; Effect/Affect. When the students answer the question properly, they are instructed to color parts of the design in a specific color. Who doesn’t love to color?!?!?
