This 3D Craftivity is an entertaining and engaging literacy-based lesson that will lure students into the craft of a poet/singer. This craftivity can be displayed in the classroom or at home and decorates any surface quite nicely.

This Valentine’s Day 3D Craftivity explores the song, “Battlefield” by Jordin Sparks, and asks the students to find figurative language within the song, record the figurative language and explain the language using text-based evidence. This activity specifically focuses on similes, metaphors, idioms, and hyperboles. This is aligned with the Common Core and focuses on citing text-based evidence.

Every night these little elves move to a new place, and you cannot touch them, or they lose their power and cannot report back to Santa.
