Back to School PowerPoint Slide Show-Motivational
This is one of my favorite activities to do the first couple of days of the new school year is to motivate my new students with a fresh start, motivational quotes, and teach them a growth mindset. I want my students to know they can be themselves in my classroom, they can try new things, experiment, but at the same time they are going to work very hard and there are specific guidelines and expectations I want them to follow.

The 18-page slideshow:
*plays over the course of 2 ½ minutes
*it includes motivational expectations like, “I want you to make mistakes. Every mistake is progress.”, “Be kind.”, “Be a leader.”, and other ideas to improve their character, integrity, and work ethic.
*The nice part about this product is it is completely editable. For example, slide 5 mentions, “This is English”. You are most likely going to change English because you teach a different subject. In addition, you may want to add your own expectations and some of your class rules.
