★★Teaching Students to Draw Inferences★★

Included in this product are 10 vivid and engaging pictures in a PowerPoint presentation, which will make your students think deeply. In addition, there are slides in the presentation that define inference and how to draw a valid inference. Lastly, there are worksheets that accompany the pictures. This worksheet asks the students to write down what they think is happening in the pictures and to support their thinking with evidence.

One of the common struggles in my English class is trying to get my students to think deeper. Many of my students will just reach for the “surface” answer, rather than looking or thinking deeper. I created this product to engage my students to not only think deeper but think on a higher level. This product is going to have your students delving into pictures, artwork, and historical pictures and making analytical conclusions and inferences.
