This 40-page resource will have your kiddos thinking critically, and deeply, and analyzing the text, characters, setting, plot, and literary devices. I created this product to appeal to middle/high school students. The pages are interesting, vibrant, and engaging.
Each page is a FULL PAGE for the purpose of extended responses and room for your students to answer the questions. If you want to cut these in half, many copy machines have the option to reduce the size and double up on one page (I bet some of you did not know that your copy machine could do that!!!). However, I like the full-page option because these can fit nicely into my students’ literature or writing section of their binder, and they can be easily hole-punched.

What types of literature should I use with these pages?
I created this product so that you can use these reader response pages with ANY piece of literature-novels, short stories, fables, myths, short texts, etc. To add more variety, you can assign these sheets for group or independent work and for independent, guided, or whole-class reading. In addition, you can assign one page for a quick ditto or a large packet for a project. This product has so many different types of uses, and I am sure you will be very creative with them! Just assign the pages, PRINT, and GO!
